The DirectEar TM SET 100 mono system consists of an infrared transmitter and receiver that permits cordless television listening without disturbance to others. The transmitter connects directly into the audio output of a TV, VCR or compatible audio source. A high quality audio signal is transmitted on the 95 kHz infrared carrier frequency to the stethophone receiver.

PLEASE NOTE: Infrared headphones are not recommended for use with a Plasma screen TV or in rooms with fluorescent lights. Plasma screen TVs emit IR radiation that can interfere with reception in IR headphones and IR remote controls. All IR headphones are affected by the IR radiation of Plasma TV screens and fluorescent lights.
