The Listen LT-700 Portable Transmitter will broadcast your speaker, interpreter, or tour guide�s voice to everyone in the audience, without having to carry a microphone or be plugged into the wall. Excellent for factory tours, outdoor events, wireless microphone applications, classroom or training, or personal use � anywhere you need to amplify sound but don�t have (or want) an installed sound system. Portable transmission has never been easier for users!
Lightweight and portable, the LT-700-863 transmitter operates at 863 MHz and will transmit sound for up to 150 feet away from the listening audience. This transmitter is also available in the 72 MHz frequency (LT-700-072) and 216 MHz frequency (LT-700-216). Alkaline batteries will provide approximately 20 hours of use while NiMH batteries will provide approximately 10 hours. The LT-700 also provides 3VDC phantom power.
How the System Works: The LT-700 transmitter uses a microphone (not included) to pick up the desired sound source. The speaker talks into the microphone and the LT-700 transmitter broadcasts the message over an FM radio signal. Listeners wear FM receivers (not included) equipped with headphones to pickup the broadcast and hear the speaker's message.
